The Robert Koch Institute has named new virus variant areas and corona high incidence areas.
This also includes a popular holiday paradise.
The corona mutants continue to spread in Europe.
The Robert Koch Institute (RKI) has reacted to this and has now added further countries and areas to the list of virus variant areas - including the Czech Republic.
In addition, the number of corona cases in some countries has exceeded the critical value of 200 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants in the last seven days, so that they are now considered high-incidence areas.

Anyone who returns to Germany from the holiday paradise must therefore now be in quarantine for ten days and also have a PCR test carried out before returning.
Furthermore, Bahrain, the Caribbean island of St. Lucia as well as St. Vincent and the Grenadines have been named areas of high incidence.
In the past few weeks, the Seychelles have pulled out a few levers to attract more holidaymakers to the islands again.
Entry is now possible again without quarantine, as long as the travelers can provide evidence of a complete corona vaccination that was at least two weeks ago.
In this case, only a negative corona test is required, which must not be older than 72 hours.
Entry is also allowed for travelers from Germany without a corona vaccination:
Germany belongs to category 2 of the "Permitted Countries"
, so that a normal vacation - at least after a ten-day quarantine - is possible in the Seychelles.
In addition, a negative corona test that is not older than 48 hours must be presented upon departure.
The classification as a high incidence area by the Foreign Office makes a Seychelles vacation difficult again.

.
This means that there are already 15 countries worldwide on the RKI's list that are severely affected by corona mutants.
The federal government has imposed a transport ban on the countries concerned.
This means that only all Germans and foreigners living in Germany as well as transit passengers from these areas are allowed to enter from these areas.
There are exceptions for the movement of goods, among other things.
