The directorates of internal trade and consumer protection in the governorates of Daraa, Tartous, Lattakia, and Deir Ezzor have organized a number of supplies adjustments against bakeries and violating commercial and economic activities.

In Daraa, members of the Internal Trade Directorate organized, during the past two days, 15 rationing controls against bakeries in Al-Shajarah, Tal Shehab, Al-Soura, Al-Gharya Al-Gharbia, Al-Gharya Al-Sharqiya, Qarafa, Azraa and Da'el, for violations of the weight loss of bread ties, failure to comply with work schedules and the production of poorly made bread.

The seizure also affected private bakeries, namely Nafeh and Abidin, for the violation of the lack of weight of bread ties, Koya bakery, Abu Hussaini bakeries, Al-Rahma and Al-Amer bakeries, in the case of non-compliance with the working hours.

The officers of the Directorate closed the local Samana and Sweets in the city of Izraa, in implementation of a previous organized rationing seizure against them, and they did not conduct a legal settlement on those seizures.

The seizure also included shops for committing violations of not announcing prices, showing illegal invoices, and not announcing a service fee.

In Tartous, the elements of internal trade organized 21 judicial controls regarding violations of tampering with the smart card system and the use of food bread in popular restaurants. The seizure also affected three warehouses in the Safita area containing black cement subsidized by the state, and there is no purchase invoice with the intention of influencing the market and achieving a large material profit in addition to Control of not presenting a purchase invoice with white cement.

The rest of the seizures included violations related to the possession and trafficking of expired materials, the specification card in the form of a removable sticker, the absence of a listing card, and the failure to announce prices in the Tartous, Safita and Dreikish regions.

In Lattakia, the Internal Trade Directorate seized a facility in Jableh, the industrial zone for sifting food flour, containing a ton of food flour, and its owners also trade in diesel.

In a statement, which SANA received today, the Internal Trade and Consumer Protection Directorate indicated that more than 300 liters of diesel, machines, bags of flour and equipment were confiscated, and the violator was brought to the Criminal Security Department in Jableh to complete the investigations and the facility was sealed.

In Deir Al-Zour, the consumer protection patrols in the governorate organized six rationing controls for violations of not announcing prices, pre-chopping chicken meat, possessing manually manufactured garlic cream, and the restaurant with the two violations was closed and the said quantity was destroyed.
