The symposium held by the Damascus branch of the Arab Writers Union, moderated by the poet and journalist Ali Al-Dandah, and in which the critic and poet Nizar Burayk Huneidi and Dr. Shaher Murrer participated, included a glimpse into the writer's biography and a reading of some of his literary and eloquent and popular poetry.

Dr. Heneidy, in turn, saw through his axis that the poet Al-Hamad was able to transfer many of his meanings in popular poetry to the eloquent, and it is not hidden from anyone that he left an imprint in the literary and eloquent and popular forms.

As for Dr. Murrer, who represented in his axis the poet’s friends and his environment, he considered the poet Al-Hamad as a literary icon because he carved his name alongside the Frattini creators and his literature was full of picturesque nature. Sung by the artist Saadoun Al-Jaber.

The critic Dr. Atef Boutros made an intervention in which he indicated that Al-Hamd is a tender and transparent poet who respects everyone, far from arrogance and arrogance, strewn with the soil of the Euphrates and saturated with harsh air and his obsession to color poetry and offer the beautiful from it.

As for the critic Dr. Ghassan Ghoneim, he explained in his intervention that the most important characteristic of Al-Hamad's poetry is the musical and smoothness of all the forms he writes, and that he adopts simplicity, humility and gentleness in his behavior and writing.

The Secretary General of the People's Party, Nawwaf Abdel Aziz Al-Melhem, concluded the seminar with a speech in which he explained that honoring writers and talking about them, their writings and their cultures is a supreme national goal, because the writer is always at the forefront of society.

It is noteworthy that the late writer Abdel Nasser Al-Hamad has published several poetry collections, including the hymns and The Book of Mulia, which is popular poetry, in addition to a research book entitled The Dictionary of Qualities of Women, but the most prominent contribution of the late was in writing songs of a Phratian nature.
