The past year, especially with no choice, has caused many restaurateurs to change their minds and expand horizons fast, very fast.

As part of this, even though it is not really winter here, a lot of soup kitchens have opened, because it turns out that there is quite a bit of demand for this genre.

It's not that soups did not exist before that, we found soups in almost every restaurant of every type and style, but in many places the dish was not offered at all or was not shipped.

Thanks to the corona, this time really thanks to, this field has also been upgraded, and lovers of complex soups can stop feeling deprived.

The place we will deal with this time is "Super", a particularly intriguing soup pop-up by the "Barca House" group, which becomes a pop-up monster with a variety of places including Magrab (restaurant, bucket and bakery), Abu Jamil (also from Ghost Kitchen), Onza in Jaffa, Kitchen Market and who knows, maybe while I was writing the item another pop up would open up for him.

Anyway, the concept here is, of course, soups, and right now there are seven of these, heavy and light, classic and communal, there is everything from everything.

Look:

bean soup

:

The truth is, the soups themselves come in a large box and are invested and full of a variety of ingredients, but even if you feel the lack of soup almonds you will not find them here.

What you will find is a crumble in cool combinations such as cauliflower and brown butter, fried shallots and even leek chips.

Next to each soup we get both fresh brioche and here too, you guessed it, there are a variety of flavors, including, lemon, smoked brioche, caramelized brioche, classic and garlic.

We went to this really not simple craft and started with the heaviest - meat and beans and "if all the soups" which includes cauliflower cream, leeks and truffles.

The first was exactly what we expected, seasoned aggressively and appropriately for a soup that includes beans and meat, it is also quite filling so it might have been wiser on our part to keep it to the end, filled.

The "mother" is undoubtedly a delicacy, thick and has delicate flavors that can be eaten even cold, it is unnecessary but unlike the other soups is also possible.

Next in line is the Provence Soup - onion soup on beef axis, white wine, thyme and garlic.

Not everyone will connect with it, its flavors are strong and dominant but still if you are a fan of the style it is worth a try.

It was followed by the Polish chicken soup and the Bangkok "Tom Yam Guy", meaning two chicken soups, each with different flavors and different vegetables that gave it a different interpretation, both excellent although in terms of ingredients they are quite "ordinary". 

From here, with quite a few signs of fatigue, we continued to the vegan hidden orange, which is actually an upgraded “orange soup”.

The same basic combination of sweet potato, carrot and pumpkin with a slight upgrade of yellow curry, ginger and coconut cream.

Fans of the genre will enjoy.

The same goes for the cassava sweet potato - whoever does not like Jerusalem artichokes will probably avoid tasting and whoever loves? He will discover paradise.

To sum up?

People tend to underestimate soup that can not be a worthy substitute for a whole meal in a shipment, this shipment proves the opposite.
