The British "News Sciences" website reported that a new mutation of the Corona virus appeared in California with the merger of the British mutation and the California mutation that appeared in the United States, when examining a person infected with the virus.
The Daily Mail newspaper quoted the site as saying that "the mutation that has not yet been identified has been detected in only one case, but scientists fear the possibility of more cases of it."
He added, "Scientists are concerned that this mutation carries mutations that seem to make it able to spread faster and bypass immunity resulting from a previous infection or vaccines."
The scientists indicated that this matter happens when two different copies of the virus infect the same cell and then exchange genes during reproduction, which leads to the emergence of a new mutation of the virus, according to the same source.
