A few minutes after the moving depositions of the parents and sisters of Bilel B., shot in the head on September 20, 2017, in Asnières (Hauts-de-Seine), the one accused of the murder asserts his innocence with force, by planting his gaze on the civil parties.
Since Monday, Moussa D. has been tried for this crime by the Hauts-de-Seine Assize Court, alongside two friends who, for their part, answer for "criminal concealment".
They are accused of having helped him on his run, between the murder and his arrest in January 2018, when he was preparing to fly to Senegal.

Asked about the facts this Thursday, Moussa D. was relatively calm in unfolding his story.
Even smiling when the president asked her why go to Senegal: "Well, it's nice Dakar."
But more tense when the lawyer general pointed out to him that he had so far never said to have seen an armed man on the place Le-Vau that day in September.
This armed man is the victim himself, Bilel B., probably come to avenge the lynching he had suffered a few weeks earlier in the same place, before being shot.

"I go to the tobacco, I eat, I have friends there, I go there regularly," explains the accused, a tall fellow with an imposing build, pecs and shoulders outlined in a fitted white top.
But it is certainly not because he would be the boss of the deal implanted in the place, as designated by two witnesses heard at the trial.
“Reputation” that the interested party “does not explain”.

On the afternoon of the murder, Moussa does not know what time he arrives in the square.

After the crime, Moussa disappeared from the area, his phone stopped transmitting to reappear three weeks later in Le Havre (Seine-Maritime).
“I needed to take a step back, I was shocked, the accused is justified.
My phone was turned off on the day of the incident and then I lost it. ”
Then, it is in Gennevilliers that the telephone demarcation located Moussa.
One of his friends, tried at trial, had found a sublet apartment where, after the arrest of the suspect, a pump rifle, machine gun and ammunition were discovered.

The murder is said to be part of a context of reprisals after Bilel was lynched on July 31, 2017, for having intervened in a conflict involving "children" from the city and from another neighborhood.
"A fight", about which Moussa D. says he does not know much either.
The trial ends this Friday.
