On five occasions, this 25-year-old man, in an irregular situation, assaulted and injured women before being arrested after a final assault.
Brought before the Pontoise court last Friday, for immediate appearance, he was sentenced to the heavy penalty of 7 years' imprisonment.
The court attached the sanction to a definitive ban from French territory.
55-year-old woman assaulted and stripped
The serial attacks in the vicinity of the stations were sufficiently worrying, in particular with regard to the modus operandi, for the gendarmerie and police services to be put on alert through a dissemination sheet.
An element that proved decisive on February 9, when the operational center of the gendarmerie dispatched around 8:30 p.m. a patrol of the Ecouen brigade to the station.

When she regained consciousness moments later, her belongings were gone, as was her attacker.
Slightly injured, she was transported by emergency services to hospital for examination.
Arrested at Epinay-sur-Seine station
The gendarmes, for their part, immediately made the connection with the dissemination sheet from the Transport Police of the police prefecture which reported similar facts, the attacker of Ecouen may be the one at the origin of the previous facts. .
The police, immediately alerted, were thus able to set up a control system in the stations in the region.
