The Langenpreising volunteer fire brigade has a hard-working festival committee: In the coming year, the fire service will be 150 years old, and that should be celebrated.
The committee already meets with online conferences and has already set up a festive program.
It goes without saying that Corona has to play along until then.
It should start on May 25, 2022 with a home evening after the clubs move in.
The next day, a classic car meeting with veal sausage early pints is planned.
In the evening there will be Bavarian pop music with a bar in its own tent.
On May 27th, the fire fighters are planning an afternoon for senior citizens, and in the evening there will be a disco evening, so to speak, in memory of the legendary tent disco parties of earlier years, with a DJ playing.
Even then, the tent for the bar is open again.
It will be cultural on May 28th: The fire brigade was able to engage cabaret artist Christine Eixenberger with the band "3 Kritische".
Sunday, May 29th, on the other hand, will be very traditional: veal sausage breakfast, church procession, outdoor festival service, lunch in the festival hall and, at the end, a large pageant through the village.
When asked, chairwoman Natalie Kienmüller-Stadler reports that the fire brigade has won District Administrator Martin Bayerstorfer as patron.
They also have a festival host: the Wernthaler butcher from Gündlkofen.
The festival committee has 16 members and plans to have almost 1,000 seats in the festival hall.
This is an agricultural hall on the route towards Wartenberg.
The chairman announced: "The festival committee would like to organize a festival for young and old - especially for the community citizens." There is even a logo.
With the rough planning in place, the festival committee is now tackling the details.
