The Director of Health, Dr. Bashar Al-Shuaibi, stated in a statement to SANA's correspondent that within the directorate’s plan to expand health services in the liberated areas in Deir Ezzor Governorate, the work of the second health center in the city of Al-Mayadin has been reactivated after its rehabilitation in cooperation with international organizations, indicating that through it medical and health services are provided. For the people of Al-Mayadin and its countryside, as it is a mini-hospital that works around the clock.

Al-Shuaibi pointed out that the center has been provided with the necessary equipment and medicines and provided with the medical staff to provide various health services. The center has also been provided with an electrical generating set that works on solar energy and a warehouse for children’s vaccines that contains refrigerators that also work on solar energy to save and distribute vaccines to various regions of the eastern countryside and a mobile surgical vehicle equipped With an integrated operating room, in addition to an incubator and natural delivery supplies, in addition to the allocation of the center with an ambulance.

Al-Shuaibi indicated that work is underway to rehabilitate a number of other health facilities that have been hit by terrorism in the Al-Mayadeen area, to provide health services to the people.

The director of the center, Dr. Abdel Moneim Hussein Al-Khalaf explained that the center includes children's, Sunni and women's clinics, an analysis laboratory, a section for children’s vaccination, treatment of communicable diseases, awareness, nutrition, and pharmacy. .

A number of citizens expressed their satisfaction with the opening of the center, which relieves them of the trouble of moving to the city of Deir Ezzor to receive health services, noting the government's efforts to improve services in the liberated areas.
