Two of the young people indicted in the investigation into the assault of the teenager Yuriy, in January in Paris, were finally imprisoned Thursday after an appeal from the prosecution.
In total, six young people are now imprisoned in this case of violence between adolescents from rival neighborhoods, which took place on January 15 on the slab of Beaugrenelle, the fitted roof of a shopping center in the 15th arrondissement, and revealed a week later. late by broadcasting a video.
The young incarcerated are among the eleven indicted, most of them minors and domiciled in Vanves (Hauts-de-Seine), south of Paris, in this investigation.
Presented to an examining magistrate at the end of January and the beginning of February, they are prosecuted, depending on the case, for “attempted murder” or “theft with violence” and “participation in a criminal association”.
Another teen released
The Paris prosecutor's office appealed against the placement under judicial supervision of these two minors and the court of appeal ordered Thursday their placement in pre-trial detention.
At the same hearing, the Court of Appeal, however, released under judicial supervision another teenager who had been imprisoned the evening of his indictment.
