The death toll from the new Coronavirus in Brazil has exceeded 10 million.
The Brazilian Ministry of Health stated in its statistics today that the number of injuries recorded in the country increased during the past 24 hours by 51,879 compared to 56,766 in yesterday's data, bringing the total number to 10030,626 cases.
The ministry explained that it also detected 1,367 new deaths caused by the virus, compared to 1150 yesterday, bringing the total number of pandemic victims in the country to the level of 243457.
Brazil recorded the second largest death toll from the virus in the world after the United States and the third highest number of infections after the United States and India.
