The Italian Ministry of Health data released today showed that 347 deaths were recorded in the country as a result of infection with the new Corona virus during the past twenty-four hours, bringing the total number of deaths in the country to 94,887 deaths.
Italian news agency AKI quoted the ministry as saying that 13,762 new infections were recorded, bringing the number to two million and 765,412 cases.
Italy is still ranked eighth in the world in the number of infections since the outbreak of the epidemic in February of last year, with a shortage of vaccinations.
