The case of the suspicion of gang rape of a 13-year-old in Sharon: The
police arrested several minors this morning (Thursday) on suspicion of being involved in the incident.
A restraining order was imposed on the details of the investigation.
The affair began last week when the minor, a girl at risk sheltered at the institution, complained that four men had raped her by force.
She told investigators that she fled the institution where she was sheltered and met the men by chance.
According to her, during the meeting they sexually assaulted her.
She was sent for medical tests and the findings supported her version.
Following investigative actions this morning, police arrested a number of minors on suspicion of involvement in the case.
Later, the police will decide whether to request an extension of their detention in the Hadera Magistrate's Court.
It should be noted that this is not the first time the same girl has complained of gang rape. A year and a half ago, at the age of 11 and a half, she complained that she had been gang-raped by a number of boys. Police arrested several boys but eventually the case against them was closed.
