The unanimous National Assembly adopted Thursday, February 18 at first reading a PS bill strengthening the protection of minors against violence and sexual crimes, by setting the threshold for non-consent at 15 years, 18 years in the event of incest.

The bill presented by the socialist Isabelle Santiago was adopted by 125 votes in favor and two abstentions.
However, the government intends to favor another bill from the Senate to strengthen this legislation by the end of April.
