The coordinator of the prisoners and missing persons, Yaron Blum, left for Moscow this evening (Thursday) to collect the Israeli citizen who has been held in Syria in recent weeks.

The Israeli citizen was handed over to the Russians yesterday.

Along with Bloom, a doctor also went out, in order to check her health.

Along with Bloom, the head of the staff at the Prime Minister's Office, Asher Hayun, also flew to return the Israeli to Israel.

During the visit of National Security Adviser Meir Ben Shabbat and the POW coordinator Bloom in Moscow yesterday, they met the Israeli citizen, talked to her, and she was examined by an Israeli doctor.

A senior Israeli official said that the medical examination performed on her yesterday revealed that her health was good, and that she did not appear to have been harmed during her arrest.

A senior official noted that the intention was to complete the deal as early as yesterday, when Ben Shabbat left for Moscow, but then it became clear that prisoner Diab Kahmuz was refusing to be deported to Syria.

In light of this, the Israeli's return was delayed and she stayed in Moscow for another day.

During the night the Israeli is expected to land in Israel.
