The Candles of Peace Association chose to name the elixir of its world exhibition, which it opened today in the Cultural Center of Kfarsousa with the participation of artists from 35 countries, including Syria.
The exhibition opened with a poetic artistic ceremony on the stage of the Cultural Center in Kfarsousa, where storyteller Rana Ali expressed her happiness at the inauguration of the exhibition because Syria has always been a land of love and peace.
Poet Aisha Hasnat participated in prose texts that carried emotional and emotional distress, as poet Rana Mahmoud recited prose texts that carried emotional concerns, in addition to a poem that focused on the artist's concerns, directing her poem to her sculpture that she worked from oak wood and through which she participated in the exhibition.
The artist Rasha Al-Shoufi gave a vocal link to Mrs. Fairouz, along with guitarist Basil Al-Minna, who participated with her, in addition to playing a Western vocals compass.
The opening ceremony of the exhibition was concluded by the artist's troupe, Naya El-Shaar, with a musical compass by the law player Hussam Helmy, during which he sang Muwashah when he seemed to be bending and the songs of Sibouni, O People, Al-Ful, Jasmine and Al-Ward.
Fine artist Lina Rizk, head of the Candles of Peace Association, explained that the exhibition displays the works of 900 artists from many countries, in addition to 91 Syrian artists from various governorates, as well as expatriate artists, as she presents pictures of their works via video to be broadcast on social media, confirming that all the participating works were on a high level. Because the exhibition was not arbitrary, but rather a specialized committee was assigned to select the participating works.
Among the participants, plastic artist Rana Mahmoud mentioned that she finds herself in art as in word and poetry, expressing her happiness at being in this exhibition, while the artist, Al Shaar, saw that the heritage is beautiful and ancient Damascus, which prompted the trend towards original art because the fast songs do not meet her ambitions and can not express herself Through it.
The artist, Helmy, considered that with a minority of those interested in our heritage, it is the duty of artists to revive it and remind of this singing, while the artist Al-Shoufi explained that she participated in the exhibition with a painting in addition to her participation in singing, considering that the artist's multiplicity of talents carries an additional responsibility to confirm the victory of humanity over all challenges and evils.
