Summary.
Three goals, and Kylian Mbappé has entered the legend.
Author of a hat-trick at Camp Nou, the French international allowed Paris-Saint-Germain to take revenge on FC Barcelona (1-4), in the round of 16 first leg of the Champions League.
At just 22 years old, he confirmed his rank as a football superstar.
The rise of the young player from Bondy (Seine-Saint-Denis) was dazzling.
In 2013, he joined the AS Monaco junior team at 15, before moving to Ligue 1 two years later.
Recruited by PSG in 2017, crowned world champion with the France team the following year, he is considered one of the future best players on the planet.
This feat, against FC Barcelona, comes after a difficult start to the season for Kylian Mbappé.
The repeated injuries, the Covid-19 he contracted in September, and the health crisis have sometimes taken him away from the field.
He also suffered the conflicts at the head of the Parisian club, which resulted in the arrival of Mauricio Pochettino as new coach.
Story by Dominique Sévérac and Sébastien Nieto, from the Parisian sports department.
