"It is with Les Choristes that I developed a passion for singing": Domitille, from the edges of the Marne to The Voice on TF1

Domitille Didier, a native of Savoie and resident of Maisons-Alfort, will face the jury of The Voice on Saturday evening on TF1. Interview with u

Domitille Didier, 25, is from Savoie.

This young singer has lived in Maisons-Alfort for two years, and enjoys it very much.

A business school graduate, she took to social media with one singing video per week.

Inspired by artists like Clara Luciani, Aloïse Sauvage, or L'Impératrice, Domitille draws her inspiration from these talented women.

Saturday evening, she will be on the set of The Voice.

Will she succeed in seducing the jury with her voice?

To begin with, what is your background?

I have a very classic course.

I did a science baccalaureate and was a very good student.

I went to prep, then I went to business school.

Along with my master's degree, throughout those years, I sang all the time.

And at one point, when I started working in a company, I realized that I was missing it.

I needed it.

So I started a YouTub e channel, where I posted a video every week.

From there, I was contacted by EndemolShine Production, to participate in the program Together, tous avec moi, on M 6. Within this program, I was in front of a jury of 100 people.

The goal was to get as many people up as possible.

I did not succeed, but I was spotted by a member of the jury, Pierre-Yves Duchesne.

He suggested that I take a year of free classes at his school, the International Academy of Musical Comedy, based in Créteil.

That's how I met the casting director Bruno Berberes, and it allowed me to go on the set of The Voice.

How did you get the urge to sing?

I have always loved music.

At the beginning I started with the violin, which I practiced for five years.

For some small shows, I was asked to sing, and I liked it.

It was with the arrival of the Chorists, the film with Jean-Baptiste Monnier, that I developed a passion for singing.

I loved it, and started singing all the time.

With the feedback, I was told "it's nice what you do", and it made me want to continue even more.

Then, I learned the piano on my own to accompany me.

Little by little, it happened like this.

As an artist, how are you experiencing this period of pandemic?

It's very special and it's very sad to see empty theaters.

The luck that I have is that as I am still in training, I make this constraint an opportunity by continuing to train myself as much as possible, to prepare everything for the next castings.

I was lucky with The Voice to be able to go on stage.

As there is less activity, I take the opportunity to work in parallel, and lead a bit of a double life: the "business" life to meet my needs, and the artist's life where I continue to train myself. maximum, to be ready when everything is better.

T

he conditions of this tenth season of The Voice are necessarily special.

Have you been disturbed by the necessary adaptations?

As a candidate, I missed the audience a lot.

It's for him that we sing, with all the exchange we can have.

It boosts me a lot to have an audience.

It was really very weird, but I think the production put everything in place to make it go as well as possible for us.

We didn't have a family room either.

In these moments, I know that I need to be "focused" before going on stage, so it was less disturbing.

There were of course the nannies, who take care of us, and the voice coaches.

All these people are with us as much as possible.

So there are a lot of humans in this adventure, even without the audience.

What do you like most about Val-de-Marne?

I have lived in Maisons-Alfort for almost two years.

I really like it.

I find it very good to live there.

I live near Ecole-Vétérinaire, it's a very nice place, with a nice little town center.

It's super family.

It feels really good there, and it's quite close to Paris, so it's practical, because it's well served.

I am delighted to have found this place.

What I like most is walking along the banks of the Marne.

I think it's a really nice place, and I really like going there.

This natural side, with lots of trees, is really a great place to stroll for the weekend.

I spent my first confinement in Val-de-Marne, and it went really well.

With my roommate, we made friends with the neighbors.

We all met.

Some came to see me, because I was training at home, and asked me "are you singing?"

".

It really developed a great neighborhood life.

Bryan, waiter in Ivry, seduces Vianney with his own song

Bryan Tournié represented Val-de-Marne on the set of The Voice, last Saturday.

A waiter in Ivry-sur-Seine, this 24-year-old Toulousain is "passionate about cinema and music".

First wanting to become a film director, he finally devoted himself to music.

In blind audition, he prepares the song “Dumbo” by Vianney, without knowing that he will be in the jury.

Moved, the coach recognizes the tune from the first chord.

Bryan does not hide his admiration for Vianney, whom he "loves phew" and whose "simplicity and benevolence" he detects through his work as an artist.

“Well done mate, thank you, I'm too touched,” says Vianney, smiling.

"It's my song and it always does something to me, but you let go".

Vianney is the only The Voice coach to have turned around, propelling Bryan into the competition.
