Daniil Medvedev won in three sets 6-4, 6-2, 7-5 against Stefanos Tsitsipas in the semi-final of the Australian Open.
The Russian player got through it against Tsitsipas (Nadal scorer in the quarter-finals) in 2:11 and will find Novak Djokovic in the Australian Grand Slam final on Sunday.
The world number four could start the 2021 season as he finished the 2020 season, i.e. with a title (won the London Masters last November).
The 25-year-old Russian, who remains on 20 consecutive victories, had pushed Rafael Nadal to the fifth set of an anthology match in the final of the US Open 2019.
