Thursday evening, a man was fatally stabbed, boulevard du Général-Leclerc, in Clichy-la-Garenne (Hauts-de-Seine).
It is a little after 8 pm when this 33-year-old maintenance worker leaves the Beaujon hospital center, where he works.
He only has time to walk a few meters outside the establishment when a person falls on him, at the corner of Boulevard du Général-Leclerc and Rue du Professeur-René-Leriche.
The man receives two stab wounds in the side and armpit and collapses on the sidewalk.
The victim lies in a pool of blood when passers-by rush to his aid.
They immediately warn the hospital staff.
In the meantime, the attacker (s) have disappeared.
"We heard screams and tears"
Already unconscious, the injured man was in cardiopulmonary arrest when he was taken care of.
Attempts by caregivers to keep him alive are unsuccessful.
His injuries left him no chance.
"We heard cries and tears," reports a resident of the building on the corner, who saw "the body lying on the sidewalk surrounded" help and police.
The witness, who heard nothing of the assault, also confides having seen "the family (of the victim) in tears on the other side of the sidewalk".
“We could hear the family screaming and crying, that's what woke us up,” adds another neighbor, while a third resident is surprised at such a tragedy.
"I've lived here for twenty-two years, it's a very quiet area, I've never seen anything like it until now," she laments.
"The maintenance agent was an employee of a cleaning company, with which the Beaujon AP-HP hospital works", specifies the direction of the Public Assistance - Hospitals of Paris.

"We are obviously all shocked," confirms one of his colleagues, who does not wish to say more about an event outside the establishment.
"Psychological support is offered to hospital staff," said the AP-HP this Friday evening.
"Security has been reinforced at the entrance to the hospital center, in collaboration with the Clichy police station, which will make passages around the hospital during the weekend", adds the management, sending its condolences to the family and relatives of the victim.
The investigation was quickly entrusted to the departmental judicial police service (SDPJ 92).
Investigators are already working to study the video surveillance images.
The autopsy of the victim was to be performed this Friday.
