US authorities have evacuated more than 80 people due to a massive fire that broke out in an apartment complex in Bexar County in the southern state of Texas in the United States.
The American "NBC News" quoted Jerry Bialik, head of the volunteer fire department in Bixar County, as saying that "a huge fire broke out yesterday in a housing complex of 4 thousand housing units," indicating that no one was injured as a result of it.
For his part, a spokesman for the Red Cross said that 32 housing units were damaged and 87 people were evacuated, while medical teams are seeking to help them find shelter.
This fire coincided with a frost wave that swept across several US states, including Texas, which killed 47 people within a week.
