The undersecretary of the Interior of Mexico, Alejandro Encinas, reported this Thursday that the government sent remains found in Cocula, in the Mexican state of Guerrero, for genetic analysis to the University of Innsbruck, in Austria.

The official said that a Mexican commission headed by the special prosecutor of the Ayotzinapa case, Omar Gómez, arrived in Innsbruck to accompany the process of identifying the remains.

On September 26, 2014, 43 normalistas from Ayotzinapa disappeared in Iguala, in the Mexican state of Guerrero, a fact that shook the country.
