A pit bull mixed breed dog has found a home in the animal shelter after eleven years.
Their breed did not make adoption easy.
Illinois - She waited a long time for this day.
Now, after eleven years of patiently waiting in the animal shelter, Pitbull mixed breed dog Wiggles can finally move into a new home.
In 2010, when Wiggles was only three years old, she was brought to a shelter in Godfrey, near St. Louis, Illinois.
But the bitch didn't seem to be able to win over anyone there at first.
Because the young bitch showed her nasty side.
"She wasn't a very nice little dog when she first walked in," the shelter's trainer Karla Crane told

In addition, hardly anyone wanted to adopt a pit bull.
Animal trainer: New Wiggles family "perfect"
Many people are prejudiced against this breed of dog - because pit bulls have a bad reputation.
They are perceived as aggressive and snappy.
However, numerous examples show that these dogs are no less affectionate than other breeds (* FR reported).
And although the bitch behaved better towards other animals and people over time, nobody wanted her.
On top of that, a large benign tumor was found at Wiggles in 2016.
But because the shelter wanted to avoid possible complications from the operation, she decided against an intervention.
In addition, Wiggles suffered from food allergies, which of course made keeping them difficult.
The long wait was worth it for the now 14-year-old bitch.
As
people.com
reports, a couple from Lake St. Louis, Missouri, has now adopted the old dog lady.
"You're perfect," said Karla Crane of the Wiggles' new family.
“We couldn't imagine anyone better”.
The animal trainer firmly believed that Wiggles would find a loving family one day.
"I always say there is a family for every dog we have here".
