The Traffic Department of the Ministry of Interior indicated that all roads in the governorates are passable except for some roads in the governorates of “Damascus Countryside, Homs, Hama, Lattakia, Tartous, Sweida and Quneitra” that are impassable or impassable with difficulty due to the accumulation or falling of snow.
The Traffic Department clarified in its bulletin this morning, of which SANA received a copy that all roads in the Damascus countryside governorate are passable except for the roads leading to “Yabous Kfir Yabous Maadar” and “Hina Darbal”, “Hina Arna”, “Darbal Ain Al Shara” and “Ain Al Shara roads. Hina, Maaloula Jebdeen, and Rankos Housh Arab are all impassable due to the accumulation of snow.
The Traffic Department indicated that the road “Hina Moghir Al-Mir” and “Hayna Mazraat Beit Jinn” is difficult due to the accumulation and fall of snow, and all roads leading to “Rankos and Sednaya” and “Al-Ashayer Farm and Ein Al-Fija” are impassable due to the accumulation of snow.
In addition, all roads in Homs are passable, except for the "Shin Baidar Rafeeh near Ali" road and the "Maqlas Mazraa Zohr Al Qusair" road, which is impassable due to the accumulation of snow.
In Hama governorate, all roads are passable except for the roads of the Al-Ghab region, “Shatha Jouba Burghal,” “Jorin Slunfeh,” and “Ain Al Krum Al-Qarandah,” all of them are impassable due to the accumulation of snow.
In Lattakia governorate, all roads are passable except for the “Hammam al-Qarahleh Kharayeb Salem in Tatweer” and “Beit Yashout al-Manizalah” roads are impassable due to the formation of ice. In Tartous governorate, all roads are passable except in Al-Anazah sub-district, the roads of “Beit Jash Masyaf, the farm of Sheikh Ali Al-Majdal” and “Al-Farkhiya Al-Tun Al-Jarad Al-Jadara Al-Jadidah Khirbat Al-Sindianah” are impassable due to the accumulation of snow.
The Traffic Department also indicated that all roads in the As-Suwayda governorate are clear except for the road “As-Suwayda Dahr Al Jabal, Dam Al Rum” and the roads leading to “Al Mushnaf and its villages” and the roads leading to “Salkhad district” and “Melh district” and “Namira and Shahba Umm Dhabib Taima” are all not Impassable due to snow accumulation.
In Quneitra governorate, all roads are passable except for the “Damascus-Quneitra” highway, “Buraiqah Bir Ajam road” and “Umm Al-Azam Ruhainah” all of them are passable with difficulty due to the accumulation of snow and the formation of dense fog.
The Traffic Department advised drivers to check the vehicle’s technical condition, including “brakes, tires, windshield wipers and lights”, reduce speed, increase safety distance, use fog lights, use seatbelts and not use a mobile phone while driving in all circumstances and conditions to avoid the risks they face on the roads, referring to the allocation of numbers 5422703.
