Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif considered that his country's compensatory measures regarding enriched uranium came in response to violations by Washington and the European Troika of the nuclear agreement.
Zarif wrote in a tweet yesterday: The European troika “France, Britain and Germany” should implement their commitments and demand an end to the legacy of economic terrorism by former US President Donald Trump against Iran.
The Iranian Assistant Foreign Minister for Political Affairs, Abbas Araghchi, recently confirmed that resuming the 20 percent enrichment process is legal under the NPT and the Treaty of Safeguards, as well as under the nuclear agreement and does not mean the death of the agreement, noting that the International Atomic Energy Agency was informed of this.
