A United Airlines flight bound for Honolulu (Hawaii's capital) suffered an engine failure shortly after it took off from Denver International Airport in the United States.
The accident caused parts of the plane to fall on the capital of the State of Colorado on its return to the runway.
The authorities have reported that there have been no injuries or fatalities.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has reported that the flight, United's 328 and the Boeing 777-200, will be subject to an investigation by the National Transportation Safety Board. Police in Broomfield, Colorado, have shared some of the images where debris of the plane is seen in some farms and open spaces. The same authorities have asked residents to call 911 if they were injured after the accident and also not to touch the pieces of the plane that may be found.
