Update from January 11, 2021, 5 p.m.:
In the meantime, a new corona rule applies in most of the German federal states.
As soon as an incidence value of 200 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants has been reached in the past seven days, people are not allowed to move further than 15 kilometers from their home.
This rule also applies in Bavaria.
According to the Ministry of the Interior, the Bavarian government's assessment is based on the official Corona figures from the
Robert Koch Institute (RKI
).

The values are averaged over the past seven days in order to compensate for strong fluctuations.
In addition, drastic periods are marked: the first lockdown in spring, the summer holidays in August, the lockdown light, which started on November 2nd, and the tightened lockdown since December 16th.
The source is the Bavarian State Office for Health and Food Safety (LGL).
It publishes the new figures daily around 2 p.m.

How up-to-date the numbers are

We integrate all data seven days a week.
Good to know: In general, for all coronavirus * numbers, the actual number of cases is always higher than the reported.
On the one hand, due to a lack of laboratory capacity, tests are currently only carried out for symptoms of the disease.
On the other hand, even after a positive test for the Sars-CoV-2 virus, some time still passes because health authorities are currently overloaded and some cases are delayed.
Transparency: Our data, sources and methods
We obtain all data from official sources: the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) for the 7-day incidences, the DIVI intensive care registry for the intensive care bed occupancy rate and the Bavarian State Office for Health and Food Safety (LGL) for the nine infections per day. These data sources publish their data at different time stamps, but at the same time each day. Therefore, the data in the elements is updated during the day: RKI: 00.00 a.m., DIVI: 12.15 p.m., LGL: 2.00 p.m.
