The Ministry of Education created a mobile unit to provide oral and dental health services to students in rural areas and remote villages.
The Director of the Regional Center for Guidance, Training and Oral Medicine Research, Dr. Imad Al-Naem, said in a statement to SANA that the mobile health unit aims to enhance the oral and dental health of students in remote rural areas in order to create a healthy environment consistent with the need to raise the student’s scientific and knowledge level, indicating that this health unit Mobile will work under the supervision of the center.
Al-Naem pointed out that the services will be provided according to a timetable that includes all Syrian governorates, based on the number of students and the prevalence of oral and dental diseases in each governorate.
