The former art bunker on Isardamm currently offers clubs a home.
Now there are initial considerations as to how the property and building can be used in the long term.
Geretsried - The former art bunker has had a new owner for two years: the Krämmel group of companies bought the historic building on Isardamm.
Now there are initial considerations as to how the property and building can be used in the long term.
Review: For a long time, the Geretsried Culture Prize winner Albrecht Widmann was looking for a buyer for his art bunker on Isardamm.
In 2015, a real estate agency offered the special property for almost three million euros on the Internet.
Ultimately, the Krämmel company became interested.
A deal was reached and the terms and conditions were not disclosed (we reported).
In the meantime, life has returned to the house, which is located on a 12,000 square meter plot of land directly on the Isar in the nature reserve.
Last year the Internet radio station Radio Geretsried found a home there, as did the Isar-Loisach citizen network.
The office of the ice sports club (ESC) is also located on the Isardamm.
And: culture also found its way again.
In a much-visited exhibition, the historical Geretsried working group remembered the industry that settled here 70 years ago.
This also includes the company Krämmel.
In 1947 Josef Krämmel and Gustav Alfred Sachers founded a construction company.
This resulted in the company Krämmel in 1980, which now employs 170 people.
Further uses for the building are currently not planned, reports company spokeswoman Veronika Platz when asked by our newspaper.
"The current uses resulted from inquiries and as part of our social commitment in the city of Geretsried," she adds.
One always tries to "support ideas and social projects that are valuable for social life and have a direct impact".
There are currently initial considerations as to how long-term use of the area could look.
Platz: "In due course we will discuss this with the relevant departments."
