Al-Mayadeen football team qualified for the final qualifying gathering for the first-class league after leading its group, which includes Al-Ashara and Sabikhan teams.
Al-Mayadeen team beat Al-Ishara 1-0 and Sabikhan 2-1, tied with Sabikhan 1-1 and lost with Al-Ashara 1-2, to lead the group with seven points and qualify for the final qualifying gathering for the First Division League.
The club's administrative and media official, Moataz Freih, explained to SANA that the team deservedly top the group and its ambition to qualify for the first division, and then there will be a new plan at work to move towards achieving the ultimate goal of ascending to the Premier League.
Freeh indicated that the team needs financial support to participate in the final gathering in addition to participating in the second-class Futsal League, which will be held on the 28th of next month, indicating that the club has a base of age groups who will be an important nucleus for higher classes in the future, as the junior team won a league title. Deir Ezzor Governorate, while the Cubs team won second place.
