Qasim reaffirms adherence to the option of resistance

Hizbullah Deputy Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem reaffirmed adherence to the option of resistance in the face of the Zionist and American plans in the region.

Qassem said in a speech today, "We have to work in the axis of resistance to possess all the means of strength and armament so that our fighters are in the field and ready to defend the land and independence," calling for standing together to confront the American Zionist project with all its propaganda and media tools.

Qassem stressed support for the central cause "Palestine" and support for its people and standing with them against the usurping Israeli entity.

Concerning the internal Lebanese affairs, Qassem called for giving priority to the national interest in forming a national unity government, adhering to the equation of the people, the army and the resistance, and rejecting foreign interference in Lebanon's affairs.
