Following the slowdown in the number of vaccinated young people, starting tomorrow (Sunday), the Home Front Command, along with the health funds and local authorities, will begin a "vaccinated city" pilot, in which some cities and towns in four districts will reach 95% of vaccinated people aged 16 and over In the world.



The first cities to start the project are partly cities with high immunization rates and some with lower immunization rates.

Among others: Kiryat Shmona and Binyamina in the north, Jerusalem, and Meitar and Kuseife in the south.

In these cities, the effort will first focus on monitoring the population that has not yet been vaccinated, in order to examine where activities should be targeted.



As part of the activity, beyond the immunization points at the HMOs, MDA vehicles with vaccines will be in four main points in the city so that accessibility to the vaccine will be optimal, in addition the Home Front Command will help move as many elderly and homeless to the immunization points.
