Grossi explained that under the new agreement, the number of monitored sites will be limited and the inspectors will not be allowed to conduct surprise inspections, in order to check that no activity is hidden from them.
Earlier this month it was revealed that Iran was consciously acting to hide nuclear agency inspectors at several key sites.
The activity was revealed after a team of agency inspectors discovered samples of radioactive material at a site that had been banned from entry by Iranian authorities for several months.
The discovery has raised concerns that Iran continues to carry out nuclear activities for military purposes.
