A fatal traffic accident occurred in Sheung Shui.
At 4 o'clock in the morning today (21st), a secret truck was driving along Mahui Road and approached off Baihe Road. It suddenly shook the rear of a heavy truck, and the driver and female passengers of the truck were trapped.
After the fire arrived at the scene, they rescued two people from the secret bucket truck. However, the 68-year-old female passenger was sent to the North District Hospital in a coma.
The male driver of Midou was sent to hospital with minor injuries and was later arrested.
The heavy truck driver was not injured.
The front of the truck was severely damaged and the windshield flew off. The police are investigating the cause of the incident.

Police said that at about 4:10 am today (21st), when a 59-year-old man was driving a light goods vehicle along Jockey Club Road towards Sheung Shui, he reportedly hit a heavy goods vehicle.
A 68-year-old female passenger on the light goods vehicle sustained multiple injuries. She was unconscious and was sent to North District Hospital for treatment. She was certified dead at 5:29 am.
The light truck driver sustained injuries to his hands and feet and was consciously sent to North District Hospital for treatment.
The light goods vehicle driver was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving causing death. He is currently being detained for investigation.
The Special Investigation Team of the Transport Department of the New Territories North Region is investigating the case.
