While the scandal over the 'VIP vaccination' that ended with the resignation of Ginés González García continues, the Ministry of Health reported 3,709 new cases of coronavirus and another 77 deaths in the last 24 hours.
On Saturday they had confirmed 5,944 infections and 122 deaths.
With the infections detected this weekend, the country reaches a total of 2,064,334 confirmed positives since the start of the pandemic.
There are already 1,866,501 patients who have recovered from the disease;
while another 146,635 are currently taking it.
Of the 77 deaths reported this Sunday, 41 are men and 33 women (there were three cases from the Province of Buenos Aires reported without sex data).
Deaths from the pandemic total 51,122.
