A new
Management & Fit
poll
on the VIP Vaccination put numbers on the biggest political scandal since the inauguration of
Alberto Fernández
.
The study, of national scope and to which
Clarín
exclusively
accessed
this Sunday, alerts about a very complex scenario for the Government and leaves unknowns for the future.
It reveals, among other things, that many people distrust the official vaccination plan, ask for the resignations of the officials involved and doubt the role of
Carla Vizzotti
-the new Health Minister- in the
affair
.
The survey, by telephone and of
1,500 cases
, was carried out over the weekend.
The results are presented with a margin of error of +/- 2.5%.
M&F is a long-standing consulting firm that worked on both sides of the rift.
In 2019, like most, he missed his presidential predictions.
The poll is the first known after the scandal reported by this newspaper on Friday, when journalist
Horacio Verbitsky
made public data from an investigation that
Clarín
had begun
.
The former columnist for
Página 12
confessed that thanks to a management of his "friend Ginés" - referring to the then minister González García - he had received the first dose of the Sputnik V vaccine in the offices of the Health portfolio.

He had not been the only one
: it was also confirmed then that national legislators Jorge Taiana and Eduardo Valdés, and trade unionist Hugo Moyano, among many others, had also benefited despite not being part of risk groups.
The list, it is speculated, could number in the hundreds.
To try to stop the impact, the President decided to cut at the top and
threw it to González García
.
With that political horror movie still in development,
M&F
inquired about the vaccination plan.
Boot asked:
"After knowing what was called 'VIP vaccination' where the Minister of Health could have managed vaccines for influential people of the ruling party,
what is your opinion of the National Government regarding vaccination against COVID-19?
":
33.1% responded directly that
"there is no plan" and that "they are improvising
.
"
That negative look was completed by 27.8% who believe that "there are no vaccines and they are using vaccines for people close to the ruling party."
They totaled almost 61%.

A similar percentage was suspicious of the official vaccination plan: 40.3% said they have
"no confidence at all"
and 20.9% "little confidence" in this central government health measure.
These data represent an
electoral alarm
for the ruling party that, in the absence of economic results, embraced a dreamed of success of the vaccination plan to win the legislative elections this year.
The VIP Vaccination scandal is a
sensitive blow to that hope
: the criticisms no longer come only from the opposition but also accentuate the disenchantment among the voters themselves.

And the peak of the damage is not yet clear:
55.8%
of those surveyed by the consulting firm headed by
Mariel Fornoni
, for example,
disagreed with Vizzotti's appointment
.
It is a number, like the previous ones, that
exceeds the logic of the crack
.
43.8%, moreover, disbelieve the remarks of the new minister who swears not having been aware of the scandal that occurred meters from her office.
The level of indignation of people with these privileges for the political class and its close circles was also reflected in another part of the survey.
"Do you agree with the resignation of all officials who received the vaccine in an irregular manner?"
asked M&F.
71% answered yes
.
Finally, the consultancy inquired about the reason for Verbitsky's statements.
Again the respondents were suspicious.
But now,
about the intentionality of the journalist
: for almost 58%, it was an operation of Kirchnerism to drive Ginés González García from the Government and destabilize Alberto Fernández himself.
