France recorded 22046 new cases of Coronavirus today, up from 16,546 recorded last Sunday, when the number of infections decreased for a short period.

The French Ministry of Health stated that the average number of new cases increased over a period of seven days, above 20,000 cases, after increasing cases on a weekly basis for the fourth consecutive day.

The Ministry also announced 160 new deaths, down from 183 deaths yesterday, bringing the total to 84,147 cases, while the total number of injuries so far has reached 3 million and 583135.

France is the sixth country in the world in terms of the number of recorded infections with the virus and the seventh in terms of the death toll from the pandemic.
