This Sunday morning, in full session, the National Electoral Council of Ecuador announced the official results of the presidential election of February 7 after analyzing all the claims made.
According to the results, Guillermo Lasso went to the second round with Andrés Arauz.
According to official results, Andrés Arauz, from the Unión por La Esperanza Party, obtained 32.72% of the votes.
Guillermo Lasso, from the political Alliance CREO PSC, followed with 19.74% of the votes.
In third place was Yaku Pérez, from the Pachakutik Plurinational Unity Movement, with 19.39% of the votes.
According to these results, the second electoral round scheduled for April 11 will be disputed between the candidates Andrés Arauz and Guillermo Lasso.
