The health authorities in Russia announced that they had recorded a relative decrease in the number of daily infections with the Coronavirus, as 12,742 new infections were detected during the past twenty-four hours in 85 administrative regions.
The Russian health authorities had recorded 12,953 cases of corona the previous day.
The Chamber for Epidemic Control Operations stated in its daily report that 417 deaths were recorded within the past 24 hours, while 16,012 people had recovered from infection.
The chamber added that the total number of new infections with the Coronavirus in Russia since the outbreak of the pandemic reached 4 million and 164 726 infected, of whom 83,293 died, and 3 million and 713,445 people recovered completely.
