In the video: Aviad Moshe claimed in response to the indictment against him that he did not intend to bring Shira to her death (Walla! NEWS system)
Shira Isakov will testify this morning (Sunday) in the Be'er Sheva District Court in the trial of her ex-husband Aviad Moshe, the defendant who tried to murder her.
With the consent of the parties, Iscove will be the only one to testify in court except for Moshe, while the rest of the evidence and materials will be conveyed in the documents.
Aside from Iscove's attempted murder, Moshe was also accused of abusing their infant son, due to the fact that he attacked her in front of his eyes.
He claims that this offense should be deleted from the indictment because it has not been investigated by the police.
In addition, he claims that a person has never been accused of abusing a baby due to assaulting another person in his environment, so this is selective enforcement.
The defense also states that Moshe is guilty of sabotage with aggravated intent at most, and not of attempted murder.
According to the indictment, "Moshe brutally attacked his wife numerous times using a wooden rolling pin she used to make challah for the holiday, strangled her in the neck and stabbed her with a serrated kitchen knife with a ten cm long blade about 20 stab wounds in all parts of her body."

Moshe appeared at the hearing last week through a zoom call, and admitted that he attacked Iscove - but claimed that he did not intend to kill her, and that it was "provocation" on her part that caused him to "lose control of his actions, and harm her."
Even in most of the response to the indictment, filed by attorneys Aaron Rosa and Alon Davidov, he places the responsibility for the incident at the door of Iscove - who almost paid with her life.
"The defendant took every opportunity to insult the defendant, tease him, and verbally abuse him," it read.

After he refused: Shira Isakov received a divorce from her husband who tried to murder her

The defense offered to waive the hearing of all the witnesses in the case, including Iscove itself, and to decide the case based on the investigation materials, but the prosecution objected.
"My colleague argued that the court could decide based on pages and recordings. The recording is selective. The defendant is the one who records and only part of the incident that does not include the assault. For the purpose of deciding on evidence, her testimony needs to be heard," said attorney Moran Gaz.
