Offender Zeev Rosenstein released from prison after 17 years: "Feeling good"
Rosenstein was released months before the deadline set for ending the sentence.
Upon his release from Ayalon Prison, he said that the time in prison had "passed".
The parole board approved the shortening of his sentence, and postponed it for a week so that the state could appeal the decision.

The criminal Zeev Rosenstein, who was previously one of the most wanted criminals in Israel, was released today (Sunday) from prison after 17 years.
Rosenstein was sentenced in 2004 to 17 years in prison and was due to be released in November, but the parole board has now approved his release.
At the request of the prosecution, the committee approved a week-long postponement of the actual release, to give the state an opportunity to appeal the decision, but Rosenstein was released today.
The 66-year-old criminal was arrested in 2004 and extradited to the United States, where he was convicted of trafficking millions of ecstasy pills and sentenced to 12 years in prison.
In 2007, he was transferred to continue serving his sentence in Israel.
In Israel, Rosenstein was convicted as part of a plea deal in connection with a murder committed on the shores of the Sea of Galilee in the early 2000s, and was sentenced to another five years in prison.
For years, Rosenstein, nicknamed the "wolf," was considered the number one target of the police and also of his rivals in the world of crime.
In 2003, three people were killed and dozens were injured during his assassination attempt on Yehuda Halevi Street in Tel Aviv.
Rosenstein himself was slightly injured.
