Today, Iraqi forces arrested three ISIS terrorists during their security operations to pursue the remnants of the organization in the governorates of Nineveh and Kirkuk, in the north of the country.
In a statement carried by Alsumaria News, the Ministry of Interior stated that a joint force from the Eighth Police Emergency Regiment of the Nineveh Police Command and the Nineveh Intelligence and Counter-Terrorism Directorate had arrested a terrorist from ISIS during a controlled ambush in Tammuz neighborhood on the right side of the city of Mosul.
The Federal Police also arrested two terrorists from the organization in a specific operation that monitored their movements within the Al-Abbasi district of Kirkuk governorate.
The Iraqi forces continue their military operations in various regions to pursue the remnants of the terrorist organization ISIS.
