Our people in the occupied Syrian Arab Golan mourned the Lebanese freedom fighter and political thinker Anis Al-Nakqash, who passed away today in a hospital in Damascus at the age of 70.
A telegram of condolences from the people of the occupied Golan said, "The nation was stricken today with the departure of a nationalist fighter who never left the trench and fought the whole nation's battles with word and arms, and was among the first loyal to Syria in its war against terrorism."
In their telegram, the people of the Golan emphasized that the path of struggle did not and will not end without the liberation of Palestine and the Golan from the Zionist occupation, noting that the positions of the late were engraved in the hearts and minds of all honest people.
It is noteworthy that the discussion, known for his national positions in support of Syria and the Palestinian cause, was born in Beirut in 1951 and joined the Lebanese student and organizational work and is the coordinator of the Safety Network for Research and Strategic Studies.
