By next summer, the location that will host the future “Terrorist Societies Memorial Museum” should be revealed.
This is what Henry Rousso, a historian who is among the best specialists in World War II and in memory issues, wishes.
The latter was chosen in 2019 by the then Prime Minister, Édouard Philippe, to lead this project, which should see the light of day in 2027.

The precise address will be in Paris or in the Parisian metropolis, a choice now stopped despite the start of controversy that it had provoked.
In Nice, heavily bereaved by the 2016 attack which killed 86 people, a local association campaigned for the location to be on the Côte d'Azur.
Renouncing the fight for this option, the city will join an orientation observatory soon to be created, which will mark a new stage in the realization of the project.
