According to information from the Parisian, Anne-Frédérique, 42, disappeared this Sunday while going jogging on the banks of the Oise. Dep

Divers survey the banks and the bed of the Oise near the parking lot of Méry-sur-Oise (Val-d'Oise), at the foot of the bridge.

Above them, a drone takes images while the soldiers are still surveying the banks this Monday afternoon, before night falls.

Since this Sunday, the gendarmes have launched a vast search operation, deploying very significant means, to find the trace of Anne-Frédérique.

This 42-year-old woman has not given any news since Sunday afternoon when she left for her usual jog along the banks of the Oise, leaving her car in the parking lot.

It was then around 4 p.m.

According to the first elements gathered by the soldiers, the jogger had a family meeting in the evening, which she did not attend.

His relatives then gave the alert.

Night battles, helicopter, drone ...

The gendarmes immediately mobilized the brigades of Méry and Auvers-sur-Oise, reinforced by the forces of Psig-Pontoise, to survey the towpaths on the route that the jogger usually takes.

Battles carried out until 3 am with the help of a dog handler and an animal specializing in people search.

Anne-Frédérique no longer gave any sign of life after having left for a run on the towpath near the Méry bridge.

In the air, a Villacoublay helicopter was also engaged, flying over the area going from Méry-sur-Oise to Conflans-Sainte-Honorine (Yvelines), using a thermal camera.

These searches did not make it possible to find the trace of the jogger and were relaunched on Monday with the contribution of two divers from the gendarmerie of the waterways, who explored the bed of the Oise despite the not very transparent water and the important current.

Mounted gendarmes also walked the banks with a higher vision, overflown by the drone of the air transport gendarmerie of Roissy.

Throughout the day, the soldiers also took contact with the walkers of the towpaths or the passers-by who cross the bridge, showing the photo of the missing, a blonde woman who measures between 1.60 and 1.70 m.

All the research has once again been in vain and will resume this Tuesday morning.

A body floating in the water spotted by passers-by

At the level of the investigation, carried out by the Pontoise research brigade and the support of the Versailles research section, no lead was ruled out this Monday evening.

The disappearance of the jogger may have a link with the call from walkers on the banks of the Oise for help on Sunday afternoon.

At 4.45 p.m., they alerted the gendarmerie and firefighters to the presence of a body floating in the Oise.

It was in the middle of the river, at rue du Port, in Mériel, a few kilometers upstream from Méry.

Help was then mobilized.

Eighteen firefighters and a team of divers had been dispatched to the scene.

Gendarmes also visited the scene.

The body was spotted for a time by the emergency services, before being caught in a whirlwind caused by the current strong current in the Oise.
