Update February 22:

The health department reported 41 new infections in the Fürstenfeldbruck district compared to Friday.

The 7-day incidence for the district is 37.73 per 100,000 inhabitants, according to calculations by the local health department.

The Rki indicates the value with 37.4.

In the course of a series of tests in an asylum seeker accommodation in Germering, 18 residents tested positive, 16 of which are suspected of having the British mutation B.1.1.7.

The infected people are being relocated and the residents of three floors are in quarantine.

In a homeless shelter in Groebenzell, one of two people who recently tested positive was also found to have the British virus variant.

Almost 30 people have to be quarantined in this context.

In addition, an employee at the Grafrath primary school tested positive.

In addition, two teachers from two different daycare centers became infected.

In the district clinic in Fürstenfeldbruck, twelve people are currently being treated for the virus, three of whom are ventilated.

8653 people are first vaccinated and 5049 are second vaccinated.

About the location in the vaccination center

Even the day after the breakdown at the vaccination center, not everything went well.

But there were other reasons as well.

On Sunday, people from the second group of the vaccination sequence were invited by mistake.

This was due to a software error, as is now clearly clear.

"The Red Cross and we are innocent," said a spokeswoman for the district office on Monday.

It is unclear whether the error has now been fixed.

But that is ultimately a matter for the State Office for Health (LGL).

Independently of this, people from vaccination category II have officially been immunized since Monday.

They are usually vaccinated with the Astra-Zeneca vaccine.

The vaccination of over 80s continues in parallel.

Stage 2 means that the review and control process becomes more complex.

They responded by having a doctor present at the registration desk.

Because medical diagnoses have to be checked on site.

It is also important to prevent someone from obtaining a vaccination without authorization.

Therefore, and also for reasons of data protection, it may be necessary to provide duplicate information before the actual vaccination.

On Monday, everything went more slowly, said the spokeswoman.

In addition, there was a computer problem early in the morning.

But this had nothing to do with the breakdown of the previous day.

Update February 19:

Two more people died because of Covid-19 diseases.

An 86-year-old died in a clinic, a 77-year-old died at home in January (late registration).

Eight people are currently being treated for the virus in the district clinic, four of whom are ventilated.

Compared to the previous day, the health department reports 13 new infections.

The 7-day incidence for the FFB district is currently 26.36 per 100,000 inhabitants, according to calculations by the local health department.

The Rki indicates the value with 25.1.

Four of the new cases come from a senior citizens facility: Here two employees and two residents tested positive.

7720 people are now first vaccinated and 4638 second vaccinated.

At present, 97 people in the district are known to be infected with the virus (see table for the status by location).

Meanwhile, the district administrator has addressed the population with a video message.

He advocates another lockdown and asks for patience to keep the numbers low.

Update February 18:

Eight people are being treated for the virus in the district clinic, four of whom have to be ventilated.

Compared to the previous day, the health department reports five new infections.

The locally calculated seven-day incidence is now 24.55 per 100,000 population.

The Rki indicates the value with 31.9.

7687 people received the first vaccination and 4567 the second vaccination.

In the future, the vaccinations could go ahead faster - in any case, the vaccination center feels prepared.

Update February 17:

The district office reported 24 new corona infections on Wednesday.

The locally calculated seven-day incidence per 100,000 population was 31.82.

The RKI reported a value of 31.9.

In six other cases, according to the district office, there is justified suspicion of an infection with the so-called British variant B 1.1.7.

Such a suspicion can only be fully confirmed by genome sequencing, which has yet to be carried out.

As the authority reports, these are mostly individual cases.

Eight Covid patients were treated in the district clinic on Wednesday.

Three of them had to be ventilated.

So far, 7519 people in the district have been vaccinated.

A total of 4116 women and men have already received their second vaccination.
