Now one of them went really bad and a man died.

Now the preparation for a celebration in New York State backfired.
The New York State Police reported that they were called to a shelter at 11:55 a.m. local time on February 21 after an explosion was reported.
A 28-year-old, soon-to-be father, was working on a device in his garage that suddenly exploded.
The hobbyist died in the explosion and his 27-year-old brother was hospitalized.
The police have not yet been able to provide further information about the ongoing investigation.
