The German Baroque music, which constitutes the first pillar of the development of classical music, is present today through works by international authors at an evening of chamber music hosted by the Dar Al-Assad drama theater for culture and the arts.

The evening in which both academic musicians André Makdisi participated, Dima Khair Bey on the violin, Rima Al-Borsha on the bassin, and Fadi Jebili on the Clavisan, in which I played five pieces of the columns of this era, the Germans, namely Fox, Teleman, Handel, Bach and Bouxstouda, which was characterized by the presence of instruments, some of which diminished its importance in today's teams Especially clavisan, but it is essential to give baroque music its special and unique flavor.

Players Al-Maqdisi, Khair Bek, Jbeili, and Barsha were able to play through the pieces they played, which are rich in musical decoration, simulating this unique pattern, demonstrating the ability of Syrian academic musicians to play a difficult and unique style that needs high harmony and extract different layers of the instrument, especially with Bartita's pieces for Fox and Bach and Handel sonatas.

And because presenting Baroque works is a well-established tradition in programs of opera houses around the world, especially with chamber groups, which are part of the orchestras, the musicians sought during the evening to be a true simulation of these works with their prevailing style, showing the ability of Syrian musicians to play difficult and rare works while many Opera houses in the region invite foreign performers to live this musical style on its theaters.
