A riot broke out this morning (Tuesday) in the Lod District Court while the trial of four aides from the "Tully's residential home" in Ramla, who are accused of abusing toddlers, began.

A group of mothers of the children waited for them at the entrance to the court and the courtroom and threw their anger at them: "Abuse, we will do what you did to our children, what courage you have to be here, no matter how much you hide when we see you shout."

Since some of the shouts were heard in the courtroom as the judge entered, the security guards were forced to take some of the mothers, who did not stop the commotion, out of the hearing.

Security guards also forcibly repulsed one of the mothers as they believed she had the intent to physically reach one of the defendants.

Even after the brief hearing some of them continued to escort the defendants to their vehicles and yell at them as court guards pulled them out a side door and escorted the aides in and out.

The hearing itself that was supposed to serve as a response to the indictment was very short, after defense attorneys and the prosecution agreed to adjourn the hearing in early April, then the trial itself will begin.

Bat El Cohen, whose daughter was abused in kindergarten, said: "This morning we first met the defendants, the embodiment of evil, after seven months of dealing daily with the consequences of what they did to our children and not sleeping. There is no doubt that everything we held in our stomachs was reflected this morning at home A lawsuit and we hope that the case will be handled properly and not another postponement. "

According to the indictment, filed by Adv. Naomi Mashasha, defendants Ruhama Saad, Nirit Shoid, Nana (Hani) Tsatsashvili and Orly Shragani were employed as assistants in the private kindergarten for infants and toddlers, and were responsible for their care. 43 minors studied in the kindergarten during the relevant period. During the period, the defendants abused and assaulted 26 minors, using various objects, including holding them tightly, pulling their hands and feet and dragging them, lifting them and slamming them firmly on mattresses and chairs, slapping them and throwing packs of wipes and toys at them. The latter at the end of a police investigation. The four assistants employed at "Tully Nursery" are charged with multiple counts of harming toddlers.

In addition, the defendants, Saad and Schweid, used to humiliate the minors by scattering snacks on the floor and forcing them to eat from it.

They were also whipped with a cloth diaper.

Defendants Tsatsashvili and Shragani used to feed the babies while sitting in a low rocking chair (trampoline), while pushing the food with a spoon into their mouths, against their will.

Afterwards, these defendants rocked the trampoline tightly and even tilted it backwards so that the babies' heads almost touched the floor.

The four aides systematically abused helpless minors, who were exposed on eight cameras for a considerable period of about a month and a half.

The abuse is reflected in, among other things, the nature of the events, the multiplicity of acts and minors injured, their daily frequency, their age and the fact that the defendants were solely responsible for their needs, health and well-being.

The set of circumstances made the abusive conduct a routine to which all 43 minors who were in the kindergarten were exposed.

In the arrest request, attorney Mashasha wrote that the defendants harmed infants and toddlers, some with no verbal ability at all, and some in the early stages of lip development, who are unable to tell and seek help from their parents.

All this while the respondents believe in maintaining the physical and mental well-being of the minors and they harm them again and again. "
