A man was seriously injured last Sunday with a stabbing weapon. The police, who have since arrested five people, favor

Cascading arrests in Creillois.

Since Sunday, five people have been taken into police custody after a man was seriously injured from several stab wounds, at the foot of the Hélène residence, in Montataire.

As part of an investigation for attempted homicide, the five suspects - aged 16 to 30 - were brought before the Senlis prosecutor's office on Tuesday evening, with a view to possible indictment.

This Sunday, around 5 p.m., the police were called in for a fight near the Hélène tower.

There, a 20-year-old young man lies on the ground, injured in the legs after having received at least three stab wounds.

Originally from Creil, he is known to the police services because of a "good track record" for his young age.

Taken to hospital, he does not wish to give investigators any information about his attackers.

One of the suspects attacked with a knife a few days earlier?

A few minutes after taking charge of the victim, a patrol intercepts a vehicle in the area.

On board four individuals, including a man with bloodstained clothing.

He will be taken into custody at the Creil police station, where he will be joined by his three friends, left free at first, on Monday.

A fifth man was also arrested the same day.

Suspected of having taken part to varying degrees in the brawl, they remained silent in front of the police, just like the victim, who did not wish to file a complaint.

“This is unfortunately not very surprising,” blows an agent.

On the police side, we favor the thesis of revenge, possibly against the backdrop of drug trafficking between two rival gangs.

Because according to an investigator, it could be a "return match", following another attack with the knife which took place a few days earlier and of which one of the accused was said to have been a victim.
